Thats really good news about the house! ...went up to the barn for a few hours and spent the majority of it hosing down Pierre's leg. We had turned him out last night and I guess when someone went to bring him in this morning, he got overly excited for breakfast and he banged his leg on his door and he got a pretty good gash in it...the idiot. Anyway, hes alright, I just had to hose it down to keep it from swelling and then we had to rewrap it, which I messed up so my mom had to unwrap it and redo it. Also, my cousin unexpectantly stopped here yesterday and stayed overnight. I guess she was passing through and thought it would be a great place to stay. So my mom, sister and I had to do a major cleaning while my dad and my brother took her out to eat (we had virtually no food in our fridge) and then we all stayed up late and watched videos and went to bed around 1:30ish, which is fairly late for me. Anyway, its nice to have some peace and quiet in the house again - my cousin is absolutly crazy! She loves to play the guitar and sing old beatles tunes and dye her hair and shes just so free and wild and does her own thing, its pretty cool. But of course, its wonderful to have a quiet house once in a while. So thats what I am doing today...enjoying peace and quiet.

wow that's a long time spent on a puzzle i don't have the patience to do that. i've never finished a huge puzzle. i spent all day today shopping for a swimsuit, and some shorts with my mom. that might sound like fun to some of you bot not me. i hate shopping it never puts me in a good mood. i don't know though i think i could have made to day a better day by trying to be happy just to be hanging out with my mom. i didn't manage it though. yeah i was pretty moody all day stupid me. guess i wouldn't call it a great day but it was ok.

Doesn't sound like my idea of fun either. I'm not a fan of shopping either. I like shopping for books, love that, I can spend hours in a book store, but clothes shopping I hate. Always get me in a bad mood, so you're not alone there.
I was bored yesterday and needed to do something other than read or surf the net, so I decided to do my puzzle. My parents had friends over for dinner last night and because I was usuing the dining table for my puzzle I wanted to get as much as posssible done before we ate, and I managed to finish it! I was really pleased with that. (the puzzle was on a big bit of cardboard on the table so I just moved it when we ate, I didn't have to break it up again)

I sort of like shopping when i am in a good mood, but not all the time.
...(well really it is yesterday) i spent the whole day painting my room (it is awesome! it is all blue) with my friend, so the morning was good but afternoon i hated. And today i get to work more in the house.

Lol, I'm the same, book shopping, pet stores, saddlery's are all fine. Clothes aren't fun but can be bearable. But shoes? Forget it, just the idea makes me want to throw something at a wall!
...went to the evening service at church, almost feinted while I was there, then went to the 14-18's session afterwards then went to the pub with the leaders. I'm now definitely going to be a Mettle Sunday leader from the fall and almost certainly a ReFresh leader too which is very exciting! Odd thing though, about this time last year I met Liz for the first time at refresh. Liz is one of the youth ministry assistants. She'd come for her interview and came to refresh so that she could meet a load of the teenagers she'd be working with because she was 99% likely of getting the job. Anyway, we were talking and at this point I was a heck of a lot shyer than I am now and nobody would have thought I'd be a leader but she said to me 'By the end of the year we'll make a leader out of you' And you know what, she was right! Ant, the youth minister, said tonight at the pub that he didn't see it coming, that he didn't see me as someone who'd be a leader in the future, but that he does now, very clearly and he really wants me on board! If anyone had told me a year, or even 6 months ago, that I was going to end up being a Mettle leader and that I'd be feeling this excited about it I would have told them that they're crazy. God works in very strange ways. I've hated most of my teen years, but the idea of working with them in this way really appeals to me!

Shoe shopping is not that bad, i am OK with it some of the time, but when we are shopping for someone else's shoe, i get very bored.
And Cem that is great!!! you sound like me, i have been Fencing for 7 years now (half my life) and i used to hate leading part of the class and i never did back then, (also my mom teaches Fencing, i think i forgot to say anything about that) and now, my older brother leads part of the classes all the time for my mom, and now he is a lot of the time at firefighter training, and i am the highest rank person when he is not there, so now i have to lead most of the classes at least once a week, and i used to be really bad at it, and now i am way better at it, and i love it.
...i worked in the house more, getting my room ready, i should be buying my new bed like tomorrow.

wow great for both of you. that's cool that you can teach other people with confidence.

I am not completely confident when i am helping my mom, i have to count in French (the kind of Fencing i do we say a lot of stuff in French) and i lot of the time i forgot what number i am on, or i say a number more then once, or something like that when i am counting. So when i do that part sometimes i am nervous, and i am don't always do stuff as well as i should, so sometime it is hard to lead a class when you can't do it right.
