Ok, found it. Its page 24 in my book as the english versions are a different page size. I honestly didn't think it was mentioned so I'm sorry about that. And thanks for finding it.

Yeah I know. It's fine. I was like "I saw it somewhere, I know I did. I can't be going crazy" lol Do you have Amy's Journal? It's only sold in the UK and I want it really bad... If so, is it cool? Like what do they have in it?

Just checked, theres a website I buy books that are only available in the states from (its where I got the entire Phantom Stallion series from) and they ship to the states free usually with in 7-10 days. You may be able to get a copy from them. www.bookdepository.co.ukI found them really good for service, like good with delivery and letting you know when the book(s) should arrive and tracking your order via their site.

Also, looking through Amy's Journal I just realised, it says where Heartland is. It says that its just outside Meadowville. I knew I'd seen it somewhere! But thats the one bit of the book I've only looked at once.

Cool! Okay, I have a question...it has the different dollar sign. Not > $ how I am used to it. Will they take American money and is it the same? Do I just give a credit card and it'll take care of the rest

Yeah if you just add the book to the basket and then go to checkout and follow the instructions 'it'll take care of the rest' as you put it. However, as is a different money sign, the price may come up different once they have your details. But if it does it shouldn't come up too much higher, I think!

Wow nobody's posted on this for a loooooong time...but I was thinking about the questions and I realized I had some of the answers...
After a lot of thinking (because I needed this information for my story) I figured out that Amy's birthday must be some time in the third week of June for the following reasons:
1. Marion dies when school is still going on - sometime in early June.
2. Grandpa and Lou throw Amy a late birthday party, but it HAS to be in June because when Amy and Soraya were on the trail ride when they saw Spartan, it was mentioned that Soraya was going to camp for the whole month of July, and when Soraya went up to comfort Amy after the party disaster, Soraya said she was leaving for camp the next day.
So yeah...as for the question about how long Ty's worked at Heartland, it actually varies from book to book. In Coming Home, it's said that he began working there on weekends and holidays when he was thirteen, but he dropped out of school when he was sixteen to work at Heartland full time. In other books he just started working there when he was fifteen, and in others the age might be different. It seems our ex-favorite author (LOL) has a bit of a memory problem...

I thought Coming Home said Ty started working at Heartland at 14 not 13? I may be wrong, I am saying this from memory. But you're right, it does change book to book. I've always gone on him starting at 14 working on weekends and holidays and full time at 16 cause that's was said in Coming Home (or my copy anyway, I'll dig it out tomorrow and check about the ages).
What you say about Amy's birthday makes sense and I think your completely right. One thing that annoys me is that her 18th birthday got skipped in Always There. That covers Graduation and most of the summer right, so her birthday should have been in it, I'm sure it would have been celebrated. Yet theres no mention of it.

About Amy's b-day in Always There - I agree completely! I mean, it's her last birthday before she goes off to college. I guess our (ex) favorite author has a bit of a memory problem...she's made other mistakes too. Ooooh someone should start a topic about that...

lol, yeah there are quite a few mistakes and inconsistency's!
Back to Ty's age, I checked in Coming Home and it says that he's 17 and started working at Heartland part time 3 years ago, so that would be 14, and then he started there full time at 16.

I'm such a stickler for details that I notice every single little nitpicky mistake in those books (or in any book, for that matter...).
Like how in book 12, Solitaire was a yearling filly...but in the rest of the books he/she/it is mentioned, Solitaire is a yearling colt. What's up with that?!
Or how Lauren Brooke uses the last name "Bartlett" for two characters - Jack Bartlett, of course, and for Jasmine's original owner. I noticed this in A Holiday Memory, when it describes the horse sale at which Marion and Amy bought Jasmine.
Or...well...I'd like to see what other people noticed.

Oooh I'm excited...LOL...I figured out when Ty's birthday is! It has to be December 16, because *takes deep breath* Christmas in ODYK is on a Sunday, and Ty came over to Heartland for his birthday dinner because his family wasn't celebrating until Sunday, which was the week before Christmas...and that morning Amy said she wasn't going to school because it snowed, and Marnie told her that she had to go back on MONDAY, thus making it a FRIDAY, which is two days before SUNDAY (duh) and a week before Christmas is Dec. 18, and two days before that is December 16.
It sounded better in my head...
