Okay new question - if Amy/Ty could have any type of future imaginable, what would you make their life like? Im wondering mostly for fanfics, I want people to enjoy what Im writing instead of thinking "oo I wish they had a boy instead of a girl" or "i wish that she would move away from heartland"* etc. Any ideas would be great and I will credit all who contribute even If I dont end up using your idea!
*I would just like to say that both of those are false and incorrect and not things I wish to happen...however, if this is your opinion, feel free to share it nonetheless!

I think they should stay at Heartland together, get married after she gets out of collage. And maybe have twins one boy and one girl. Keeps Heartland about the same but adds new barns to it.

Thanks, I love the twins idea.
Here is what I have so far for my fanfic: Ty/Amy got married They have one girl named Emma who is about 1 (stolen from Friends, one of my favorite shows besides Third Watch) They still live at Heartland Matt/Soroya got married (no kids yet, though I might have them have some later) Lou/Scott are still together and live about fifteen minutes away. They have a girl and another baby on the way. Oh and there are a lot of twists and turns so there are things I can say yet...but I dont think that the house is the same one Amy grew up in...im thinking that Grandpa and Nancy (oh yeah, they are married) live in the old house and Ty/Amy built a new one becasue some parts of the story dont work with how the house is in the books. Also, Jack and Nancy arent exactly in my story yet (i made it that they were visiting some of nancy's relatives) so it doesnt matter too much to the plot yet...any other suggestions would be great!

Oh and one more real quick thing...my next story (or I might change things around to incorporate it into this story that im writing right now) is going to have a few changes to Heartland. First, it will not only be a horse sanctuary, but also a vet clinic and both Amy and Scott will practice there. This allows Amy to go to college and become a vet, and they could build an extension or a seperate building that deals with all animals...something like that but i just wanted to trademark my idea!

I love the idea of your next story!!
Mine is about the summer before Amy goes to collage, and a bit while she is at collage. And it is coming along slowly but it is getting there.

i think they should do some outreach and open up other nonprofit barns and teach others to do this stuff. While of couse living at the heartland we all know and love. When i read the last book i was actually kind of releaved that it wasn't an engagment ring, they wernt ready for it. there will be many more books in my opinion.

There is only one more and its a Special Edition, she announced that the Heartland book series was officially over like two years ago or something...but she might make more Special Editions (i read it in an interveiw)...yeah an outreach barn (sort of like Pat Parelli - my hero) sounds like a good idea, thanks!

If she does end up breaking Amy and Ty up in the next book and doesn't write more to get them back together there are going to be a lot of very unhappy readers I think!

Hi Carson, welcome to the board!
I love the Heartland books and think Lauren Brooke is fantastic for writing them, but if she breaks them up and doesn't get them back together, I will forever be disappointed. The whole set up for Amy and Ty will feel like a joke. I mean this new book is set in her first spring break right? so they won't have survived even a year with Amy at college. Which givin their devotion to each other at the end of Always There would suck.
