Not surprised you need to vent Audrey, thats terrible!
...went and saw the new Harry Potter film. It serieously rocks! There's a lot left out from the book but it still works and I think it may be the best film yet.
...went to the pub with my best friend and a load of mates for her birthday and did the pub quiz which was cool. We actually did really well I think our final score 47 and the winning score was 53 with 2nd place being 50. So we did really well. It was a really good laugh too as there were a couple questions about trains and the train expert on the team couldn't answer them, a couple cricket questions and the cricket expert couldn't answer them and a couple questions on America that the American expert (me) couldn't answer! It was funny.

...discussed things rationally and calmly with my trainer and decided that instead of us moving Pierre to his barn, he would send one of his Working Students to come work with us. He said he had a kid who is about 18 who has been working with him for a while and he thinks he would be perfect for Pierre and I. So I guess Pierre wont have to move a lot this summer, which is better for all. I am very excited to meet him, which should be sometime around noon tomorrow. I get to have a semi-private lesson with him up at Hillcrest (my trainer's farm) and then if all goes well, he will come and look at Pierre and then I will have a second lesson at our farm with just me and Pierre. This is very exciting, and I hope this works becasue I really dont want to have to switch Pierre over to a different barn.

Okay so yesterday I...
...went to Hillcrest (my trainer's farm) and met with Andrew, a working student. Turns out Andrew lives a few streets over from us, so it would be really convenient if he could work with me this summer. I had a semi-private lesson with him scheduled, but the other girl I was supposed to be riding with cancelled so it was a private. I rode a paint mare named Tulane that belonged to my trainer. It was different riding a new horse under a new trainer, but I think all in all it went very well. Tulane was a beautiful jumper, and she tried very hard to adjust to a new rider. My trainer said that Andrew could come out by Tuesday to look at Pierre, so hopefully I will see him sooner rather than later.
Today... My mom was digging through the loft and she found her old western tack. We spent all morning cleaning it, then my friend Hannah came over and we went for a trail ride. It was a lot of fun to ride western after a whole winter of riding english. Becasue Pierre doesnt do western very well, I rode a bay gelding named Hal. Two new horses in two days! Well anyway, my friend Hannah and I were trotting along and we headed out along the back end of our property. I heard this dog barking, which I thought was impossible becasue I was pretty sure I'd left Sabrina (my dog) in the house. There werent really houses around there, so I didnt know whose dog was barking. Hannah and I continued up along the woods, then came to the old field, only to find that it was completely gone! Instead, it was a mud pit, and people were building there! Now, to give you an idea of my shock, our land is only a few acres wide at the most, but it goes back pretty far, and then there are a bunch of fields that anyone goes on, then you sorta hit the river. We hadnt been back to the fields in a while, so I was REALLY shocked! All I kept thinking is that I must have gotten lost and been on someone else's land, but it was the same fields, just covered with machines and trucks and the foundations for a couple of houses. Well Hannah and I arent ones to immediatly leave, so we decided to explore a little. I guess it was part of an older communtiy that expanded and bought the land, becasue we ended up in a development! I havent told my mom yet, becasue Im sure we were trespassing of some sort, but it was still really cool to ride our horses in a development where people walk twenty feet to get to their mailbox! I cant really explain things better than that, but I did find a shortcut into town! Anyway, my friend Hannah says she wants to come back tomorrow and explore some more. Its sorta neat riding through a development of houses like that. Way different than anything I've ever done!

Yesterday I had to say a very hard goodbye to my best friend and my parents gave me a digital camera for no reason! Odd day.
Today I...have to go and buy a suitcase because I got mine from the loft yesterday and disscovered the whole bottom bit of plastic that keeps the bottom hard and flat is cracked and broken in to lots of bits. Not very helpful seeing as I'm off to America on Thursday!! I also have to go and buy a case for my new camera.

Ugh, i bet that sucked Cem taking your gerbil to the vet. But i hope you have a good time while you are away, and do try to post every once in a while, it will be good to hear from you every once in a while.
...I finished Deathly Hallows, i really liked it, that is all i am going to say here i don't want to give away anything to people who have not read it (maybe we should talk about it in the Harry Potter thread, and let people know we are going to be talking about that book).

today I...
took Pierre out for a quick hack, then ran up to the house to grab Harry Potter while my sister went out of the house for a few hours...basically for the rest of the day, I've been sitting around reading HP 7...I am now on page 502 (chapter 25) and I have finally had to pass her back the book. Im not going to spoil anything...but part of me is really disappointed in how the seventh Harry Potter turned out! Its sooo confusing in some places, that I've had to reread it multiple times! Well thats all Im gonna say on it
lets see... tomorrow I dont suspect I'll be online much since Andrew has rescheduled for sometime around noon tomorrow

...have been packing and tidying, I'm off to America tomorrow!!! Woo!
Audrey when you have time, head to the Harry Potter thread and explain why you're disappointed with DH and what you did like about it. I'm really curious to discuss it with as many people as possible cause I can't talk about it with my family!
