Here is a thread all about the horsemen (and women) that we all know and love...
Andreas Helgstrand - amazing dressage rider...he really set the bar for me and now I cant watch a professional dressage performance without comparing it to his ride at the 2006 world games! him and his horse Blue Hors Matine are AMAZING...everyone should watch them..they simply dance together
Pat Parelli - Soo much of what I love about horses is harnessed by Parelli and his way with horses. The entire reason that I am interested in psychology and natural horsemanship is all thanks to him.
Monty Roberts - Too much to write here...someone else can give it a go if they wish. Basically a ditto to Pat Parelli's blurb.
I am forgetting sooo many others...feel free to post up your favorites - I'd love to read about them!

Pippa Funnell - one of the top three day eventers. Its so obvious how much she cares about her horses and if something goes wrong she never blames it on them. She's currently the only person to ever win the Rolex Grand Slam, winning the three big 4* events (Kentucky, Badminton and Burghley) in a row. I've always liked her for her talent with horses but I read her auto biography last year and now I really think a lot more of her. Great horsewoman.
Kelly Marks - She's basically Monty Robert's protege here in the UK. And I really like her for Audrey's reasons for both Pat Parelli and Monty above.

Great idea for a thread Audrey!! I have also thought about something like this thread
I also really like Monty Roberts he is really amazing. Pat Parelli i don't know much about.
Last year i was going to write a paper for fun, about all the different Natural Horsemanship people, Like Monty Roberts, Pat Parelli, Frank Bell, Susan Harris, Gawani Ponyboy, Sally Swift, Tom and Bill Dorrance. But that is just some of the people i was looking into. But i never got far into it, i plan to work on it more someday. It was taking all of them and looking at what they do with the horses, and see what i agree with and what i don't, what they do that is like someone else, and all kinds of stuff like that, and i just one day thought it was a great idea, and i still do i just don't have time to work on it.
