Sorry that i made you jealous.
Well i read it in about 3 hours (it would not have taken that long, but i was a bit distracted when i started it, because of some stuff with a few friends.) And i am not going to give anything away because i am a nice person, but if you want i can tell anyone who wants what it is about, just e-mail me or something, but it is pretty good i liked it. that is all i will say about it here.
Amazon says they have it in stock, so if i were you guys i would go check where ever you are going to get it if they have it like i did.

I'm very jealous!!! I wanna read it!!! Thanks for not saying any details about it - lets keep this thread spoiler free untill a couple more of us have read it. I cancelled my amazon order for the book and have orderd it via another company so I should have it by the end of the week instead of the 4 weeks Amazon are predicting! I can't wait to read it!!!

I haven't finished, but I cheated by reading the last page to see who she goes with. Why the heck did she have to put out another one...she could have made it better...okay, I'll shut up and I'll say more when we can post spoiler stuff...bye!

Seeing as you've started it, I'm caving and posting my thoughts on it. Love to hear everyone else's opinions too.
Over all the book wasn't too bad. But to me it felt a little rushed and forced. And yeah really sad at the end! I really want her to write more books to get them back together. I don't mind them not getting back together for a few books but they should. Amy and Ty are soul mates.

Also just to add to the above, did Amy seem way different to the way she was in the previous books? Because she did to me and I didn't like it. I mean I know being at college and away from home changes you but it seemed like too much change too quick. just wondering if any of you felt the same....

Yeah! She did! She seemed more...well harsh and jealous and REALLY different.
Ugh! They belong together! I just sent Audrey Reed a really long message.
They were my ideal couple! Now that is over!
Have you noticed no one has updated their Heartland stories on ff.net ever since the book came out?

Good, glad I'm not the only one who thinks she's changed a lot. Also if you read a translation of the blurb on the back of the French books, it sounds like shes gonna change a hell of a lot more if they get published in English. I love the person in the first 20 books and really hate the thought of her changing so much. Her character in Beyond the Horizon just wasn't as likeable I thought. Anybody else have any thoughts on it?

Yeah she did change a lot! I loved Amy also for the first 20 book, she was a lot like me in a few ways. and the book was rushed. And they everyone is right they so belong together. There is some fan site i came across a few weeks ago that has the info for the books that are not yet in English. and they don't sound so great. www.laurenbrookefans.com/newbooks.htm |

Yeah I found that site and read that bit yesterday. It sounds really, really bad. Amy sounds like a completely different person! I really hate that the character we love so much is being distroyed. Because thats how it seams to me.

I will always adore the first 20 books and the first special edition (A Holiday Memory) no matter what because they are fantastic and any new books can't take away from that. But I if any more are realesed in English and they get much worse, I might end up not reading the new ones.

Yeah, I know of that site too. I go by barnbabe on it. Anyway, it was so stupid putting this book out. I mean, the french and english are sooooooooo different. Why couldn't the french stay for the french, and the english stay just how they were!
Now I can't even read the series anymore knowing they don't last!

One thing in Beyond the Horizon I really hated (other than the break up) is Amy dressing up to impress Ty when they went out with his friends. I mean how un-Amy!!!  !!! I HATE that it looks like my favourite series of books is being distroyed. |
