My favorite discipline is three day eventing, especially the Cross Country! Lexi looooves to do cross country and she has the stamina to do it! she has a 400+m/minute gallop and its really helpful for speed events such as jumpers and cross country. She can do endurance and dressage, but she often has too much energy to do a dressage test without mistakes that cause her to lose everything (such as breaking into a canter or stepping out too early becasue she is anixous - yeah not the pacientest of horses)...i do a lot of hunters with Pierre and dressage becasue he is more pacient than Lexi, but he loves to kick it up a notch and do jumpers or cross country. Hes not much for endurance, not quite built for it being a warmblood and all. I used to have a mare that I'd ride western. Her name was Lucy and we did all of the barrels and team penning and flag races. I havent really ridden western since.

hmm i've never competed but i think dressage sounds really cool. i ride english i started out western. for me english is harder.
