Has anyone read anything by Sarah Dessen? I have read all of her books and I loved them! I was actually wondering if anyone knew when her new book was coming out...anyone know?

I've read 'Someone Like You' but I have to admit I didn't enjoy it hugely. For that reason I haven't yet read anything else of hers even though some of her stuff sonds good. But if you tell me it's worth trying her other books I probably will. I'm a pushover when it comes to buying books. Which I've discovered is a bad thing when you work in a bookshop and therefore are sourrounded by them a couple days a week!!

Hehe yeah that must be tough! Her books all start of slow, but just keep pushing through them becasue they get really good towards the end. And they all have simliar things in common such as names of people, places, and similar events, all written in a different way. They are def not light hearted but they are still really good...my favorite was probably Just Listen, This Lullaby, Dreamland, or The Truth About Forever...Keeping The Moon was also REALLLY good but really hard to get into. That Summer took me a while to read, suprising since its such a small thin little book! Hope this helps  |

Almost forgot - That Summer and Someone Like You were pushed together into a movie that I am dying to see (the actual only reason I forced myself to read That Summer) It has mandy moore in it and it was supposidly REALLY good!

I know this is late but I absolutely LOVE the Sarah Dessen books. I've read The Truth About Forever, Just Listen... and like one or two more I can't remember. I think the Truth About Forever is my favorite.... I love Just Listen though and I loved Owen and his music.

Lol, yeah, I know thats very true for me! I read Heartland, Harry Potter, Crime, Horror, and general adult/teen fiction.

lol it's true for me too. I read tons of stuff... Harry Potter, Heartland, Phantom Stallion, general horse books, fantasy books, and pretty much any teen book...
