Hey guys. As most of you know, Barbaro was euthanized today about an hour ago (3:30 pm EST) and made his way across the rainbow bridge. He suffered from complications after breaking his leg a little over 8 months ago. He had laminitis laminitis in the left rear hoof and a recent abscess in the right rear hoof. He was in a lot of pain and it was the right decision for the colt. I thought I would post this up if anyone has any thoughts, concerns, or anything in general they would like to post, feel free to. Correction: Originally, I said that he was euthanized at 3:30. That was when the article was posted. He was sadly set to rest around 8am this morning.
