There is a two part interview with LB on the CBC website (the network who show the tv program for those of you who don't know). First Part and Second PartKind of wondering of what you guys think of what she says. And wondering if anyone else is feeling just a little angry at her after reading it? Because I am! And I don't mind admitting it. I think she's brilliant for creating the series and for the first 20 books (or real ones as I like to call them) but the rest...well, what do you guys think after reading the interview?

Oooh! Oooh! /waves hands/ I just have to get this in...The Eevee who asked question #2 in the first interview is My Forgotten Dream from fanfiction. Lauren Brooke's answer to her question gave me hope!
Q: Hey, I was just wondering how many special editions do you plan on writing? - Kelse LB: As many as the publisher requests!
Hmmmm...not sure how I feel about that. What exactly makes you angry about it, Cem?
Q: Do you like that your books were made into a TV show? - Taylor Lauren Brooke: I’m delighted! Especially as the TV show is so well-produced, with stunning scenery and a talented cast who fit the characters perfectly. Thanks, CBC!
The cast fits the characters perfectly? Ummmm...*points to Ty Borden as opposed to Ty Baldwin* Hello? What happened here?

What exactly makes you angry about it, Cem? I've been thinking about that since I you posted that Rainpaint. I'm not sure that angry is the right word actually, I think I'm more dissapointed. Like in the first part, in answer to Eevee's question actually, she says "As for him and Amy getting back together, well, a troubled relationship is much more interesting to read and write about than one that doesn’t hit any obstacles!" Anyone else annoyed with that? Like she's making problems and difficulties for the sake of it, to keep the readers interested, regaurdless of whether its in line with the characters behaviour in the previous books. I think thats the major thing that bothers me. I'm dissapointed that she'd treat her characters like that after she so carefully created them so we'd love them and want to read about them in the first place. And yes I know that a relationship without problems would be very unrealistic, but they way its been done is really out of character, I'm sure you'll agree! lol And also like you rainpaint, I'm not sure I'm happy about the comment about writing as many books as the publisher wants too. Kinda seems like the quality will go down even further if she's writing them for the sake of it rather than because she wants to, and has the ideas for them etc.

They had problems before - good problems, not unrealistic ones. They had their share of fights and struggles, but they always got through them - THAT'S what made their relationship realistic and interesting. That is how we became emotionally invested in them - by feeling what they felt.
These struggles/problems/obstacles are too far-fetched, too extravagant, too different.
I think that readers would be very interested in continuing to read Heartland IF SHE GOT AMY AND TY BACK TOGETHER!!!

Thank you! You once again got my thoughts on screen in a way that makes sense! lol. I just really can't get my thoughts straight right now.
And agree completely, I think very nearly almost all readers would love to carry on reading if Amy and Ty got back together. I mean its gotta be one of the most asked questions right? Will they get back together. The fact that people always want to know that shows that they want it to happen.
