Im much better now, thanks! I think its just all of the stress and later hours. I hope you have a fun time with the horses Cem! I know the feeling of not being able to see them (even though we have about 12 in our backyard most days). I been staying with my dad in the city for a few days each month and I nearly went crazy the first time becasue of all of the cement and buildings! That was until I remembered Central Park and now whenever I go into the city, I spend a lot of time there instead. Anyway, in addition to that, I have found that I also often dont have time to make it to the barn becasue I have so many other things going on in my life! Its hard to becasue all my mom talks about is which horse she is going to train next and whatnot and sometimes I wish I didnt have school and I could just stay at home all day like she does and ride! I understand about the "rollercoaster" weeks. On the brightside, its only one more day till Friday!
On a seperate note, guess who I saw at a show this past weekend (I was there supporting a friend of mine)? Stanley! He was showing in Childrens (which is 2'6-2'9) with a little girl named Julia. They were soo cute together! At first I wasnt sure if it was the same horse becasue his show name was different and he was all clipped and braided, but then I saw his owner by the rail. Anyway, I didnt get to go over and say hi or anything, but it made me happy to know that he has a good home.
Today I...celebrated the snowfall by taking Pierre out for a nice long relaxing hack. We went away from everything and I just sorta let it all go. I went alone, which was slightly stupid, but it was nice to enjoy the silence and the peacefullness of snowy fields and woods. Its a hard emotion to explain, but I loved the feeling. Anyway, by the time I realized how far away we were, it was getting dark and cold. We made it home before it got too dark to see or anything, but Im still cold from the ride!

Riding through the snow sounds great! And glad you're feeling better. I'm not surprised you struggled being in the city first time around, I stuggle being where I am if I don't get out where its quiter sometimes and I don't live in the city. Well not properly, I'm on the outside of it, but its a really heavy traffic area cause there is a massive goverment building about 10 mins away.
...have had a very up/down day, its ending on middle ground! lol

I hope you have a fun time with the horses Cem! Thanks, I was gonna go see meet them and ride this week, but having been almost well for two weeks, I have flu! Sigh. So I have to wait til next week becasue I have way too much on this week as it is. Including 2 doctors appointments:( But oh well, next week I get to spend time with horses, probably ride too and then on Friday next week I get to go to Olympia London International Horse Show!! So A very good two weeks ahead of me, I want this flu bug gone now!! Lol ...am sick, and have to go to the doctors later. Thats about it, not done anything else, and can't really do anything else! Going to the doc's is about all I can manage!

Im sorry to hear you are sick again! Thats no fun! The horse show sounds like a lot of fun though! It should be really exciting, no? At least it will be a break for you. I think I need a break also!
So speaking of shows...lately I have been getting back into showing. I havent done much in terms of height (2'9" at the most) but it feels great to see some of my old friends from the circuit again. Its weird how horse shows work for me, becasue I have two groups of friends it seems. I have friends from the horse shows and the barn and then I have friends from school. The problem is that I never get to see both a lot at the same time. If I'm showing, Im always too busy to hang out with my friends, and vice versa. Anyway, I have really enjoyed getting back into this sort of crazy horse show "groove". Pierre has been loving it as well. In some sense, I think he just sorta belongs inside of a show ring. He likes cross country and relaxing trails fine and all, but he really just perks up at the sight of a trailer. So anyway, on thursday I found out that this show I was going to today (Saturday) was about two hours from my house to the show (which was located near the Finger Lakes, NY). Well Mom decided she wanted to keep Pierre overnight friday which was fine, except that the barn that the show was at didnt provide shavings, so all night thursday mom and I were bagging shavings into giant garbage bags and getting everything ready for this one stupid day of showing! You would think that a couple of bags of shavings would be enough, but sadly, its not. We had 9 bags by the end filled with shavings! Mom said she wanted enough so that we wouldnt have to buy them later. Well the show went okay today. We had enough shavings and Pierre really turned up the chrome. We came in 2nd and 4th in our flat classes, and placed 5th and 3rd in the jumping classes, and 2nd in the equitation class. Considering it was our first time back into showing from a long hiatus, I was very proud of him! My mom and I are now in a hotel up near Waterloo (I think thats what its called). Im actually enjoying this mini break I am getting because my mom is kindly washing my show clothes out in the bathroom and I am in theory sleeping, but sadly I cannot sleep becasue Im not too fond of hotels. So I came online to check my mail and thought I'd drop a line to everyone here and say hi. So to end my ridiculously long Today I post...
Today I...went to a horseshow and had a really great time and ate way too much popcorn and had a bit of a stomach ache.

That's great to hear Audrey!! What is funny is i live in the Finger Lakes, and Waterloo is about an hour from where i live!
And Cem get better! and good luck with seeing horses!!
And i haven't posted anything in a while, i have been having a really hard time lately with a lot of stuff and just not feeling up to posting. Stupid drama in life. One of the things going on is my friend with the horses i found out some stuff about her, and long story short she is no longer part of my life, i have decided to not be friends with her. Which means i can't go see her horses very much (but not like i see them anyway). So everything is a little crazy, plus i am dealing with a lot of other stuff.
...I have done nothing! i was suppose to go camping this weekend but it was canceled due to this storm, but it turns out there wasn't a bad storm and we could have gone. So i am doing nothing today, might be working on Christmas cards and cookies. And i just realized i have known you two for over a year now, because i joined here at the start of December of last year.

Hey Eaty, good to hear from you! Now I'm being bad about posting, oops!! lol, never mind.
...am ill. Again. Whats new? lol
Tomorrow I have to help at a 14-18s sleepover, which means sleeping on a hard wood floor, getting very little sleep and being very ill for a few days afterwards. The sleep over is almost my idea of hell, but maybe it won't be as bad as I think it will. I just don't do well with lack of sleep and I don't like being surrounded by people for so long without a break!

Sorry I havent been posting much (or at all for that matter) but things have been completely crazy around here. Essentially, these past few weeks of winter break have been wild. Ive been riding every day (except New Years Day and Christmas Day, during which the barn is closed and the horses just sleep blissfully) and having a lot of fun with my family. Both of my brothers came into town and we all went riding in the snow a few days a go, which was nice. Pierre slipped while out in pasture yesterday and he has been a little sore ever since, so I think I am going to give him a few days off to recover. I didnt do anything wild over New Years, but I did kiss a cute boy at midnight (even though we're just "friends"). We've had a lot of work cut out up at the barn since almost all of the boarders are somewhere tropical, leaving us with several more horses to look after than usual. Thats pretty much everything thats been going on. Happy 2008 to everyone!

Happy 2008 to you too!! Sounds like you've been having a really great time! Thats cool!
...have been getting more and more frustrated with my car trouble. Very long and boring story, but basically my car keeps not starting, and its causing a lot of problems cause it means I can't really do anything or I'm having to take an extra hour to get anywhere cause I got to get bus or two!! Sigh. I'm really not having a good time right now.

I hope you do post the fic..I'd love to read it! I know the feeling of uncertainty towards posting. I love writing things with pen and paper and often dont want to take time to type up lots of pages of paper. I do have some fanfics on my computer but I lack the motivation to upload them.
Today I...went to a Pilates class with a friend, bought a new saddle pad and matching galloping boots for Pierre that I didnt really need, and watched Spiderman 3.

Cool! Sounds like a pretty good day to me! And thanks for the support Audrey. I'm working on the second chapter of it now. I think I'm going to post it but not til I've got more chapters done. But its all just flowing right now, I'm spending almost all my free time writing it right now! Which I realise makes it seem odd that I'm only on chapter two, but they are very long chapters!! lol
...have been writing my fic (which does now have a title), went to Church and Mettle Sunday (youth group) and...nope, thats it! lol
